NJ Police Forced to Drag Driver From Burning Vehicle

Police in Roselle Park, New Jersey, arriving to the scene of a car fire on May 5 were surprised to find the vehicle still occupied. They were forced to drag the driver out as smoke and flame engulfed the vehicle.“The 42-year-old male occupant … refused to get out, appeared disoriented and resisted the officers’ efforts to remove him from the burning vehicle,” Roselle Park Police said. “Once outside, driver was alert and speaking.
